The story revolves around a 14 year old boy that is just starting high school. During his first year, he attends a field trip to the woods. THere he finds a mysterious, wooden sword emitting a dark, demonic, aura. Not noticing the aura, he takes the sword and, unknowingly, becomes a cursed blade wielder! What does that mean? Read the story to find out~
Ill be revealing 2 chapters a week on Sunday and Wednesday.
Story's opening theme ( decided to make one becuase i could)
The Beginning part 1:
"Oh shit, oh shit. How the hell did I even get involved in this?" I said to myself as I ran down the alley. After making a turn he thought "Am i still being followed?" He turned his head around the corner to check if he was still being followed. "If I think about it, this all happened when I found the wooden sword on the field trip earlier." (Flash Back) "Daichi, wake up! Daichi wake up or else i'll pour cold water on you again!" I heard someone say in a loud voice as I awakened from my sleep. "What, is it time already?" I said as I opened my eyes to see my mother waking me up. "No i'm just waking you up for no reason what so ever." she said."I always hated how my mom is a very sarcastic person." I though to myself as I got out of bed." Breakfast is on the table and make sure you hurry up or you'll be late." She said as she walked out of my room and down the stairs." Oh ya today is the day I first begin High School." I thought as I put on my uniform."Still black and white colors when will it ever change?" I wondered as I walked into the bathroom to take care of my business. I then rushed the stairs only to slip on the last step."Ya what a perfect way to start off the morning." I said sarcastically. I walked into the kitchen and found a plate of eggs and waffles on the table. "Well at least breakfast is good I guess." I said as I sat down to eat. I turned around to check the clock. "I still got time." I thought as I continued eating and then it hit me. This clock is 45 minutes behind. Thus beginning my high school life.
-School Bell rings- "Oh god I just barely made it." I said as i was struggling to catch my breath. As I turned around the corner I saw Mr Oakagawa. He was my teacher from last year."Hey Mr. O!" I screamed so he could hear me. He turned around to say hi and gave me the look. The look that screams I don't wanna see you. That reminded me of how much of a dick he was last year. After that I headed to the gymnasium where all the other first year students were going. "Hey Daichi!" I heard in the distance. I turned around to see Riku, my best friend. "Oh Hey Riku I forgot you passed the entrance exam too!" I said sarcastically as I gave him a high five. "Not funny bro that shit was hard and you know it!" he said with a bit of relief in his voice."Aye aye I'm sorry but it's true you know I'm kidding." I said to him as we entered the gym. We got to our seats just in time to see the school president give her speech."Its gonna be a long day." I thought to myself. " I'm Reka Tsukishima and I'm the school's president!" I heard just about that before I dozed off.
"Yo Daichi wake the hell up your snoring bro!" I heard as I started to wake up. "Oh thanks man." I said as I got up. "Doesn't matter anyway now." Since the orientation was over. We walked out the gymnasium." Well I got room 146." I said as I looked over at Riku. "No luck man class 158, guess we get no classes together."He said in a sad voice."Oh god are you crying bro?" I said seeing as Riku tends to be emotional."Nhaa I'm not, it's allergies bro." He said quickly. We said our good byes and headed to our classes. Who would've thought what was about to happen next?
The Beginning part 2:
As I was on my way to class I got a chill down my spine."God I feel like something bad is about to happen." I said to myself as I turned around the corner. I heard people shouting in the class room."I wonder what could be going on. But something tells me I should go inside." I said as I slowly walked towards the door."God what am I doing anyway. Fuck this I just go in anyway. I mean its my own damn classroom so what should I be scared about." I said out loud everyone in the hallway turned to look at me. Embarrassed I walked inside I regretted that."Gosh are you some kind of fucking idiot? I mean come on its obvious that I'm the class rep."I saw a red headed girl in a school uniform yelling at this kid."You there at the door.Right the person with the highest entrance grade should be the class rep?"She said with a bit of anger in her voice.I turned to looked around."Wait your talking to me?"I said in a confused voice." No I'm talking to wall dumb ass who the fuck I'm talking to?" she screamed at me. God this she fucking piss me off." God you don't have to bitch about I'm pretty sure there's a reasonable way to solve this. So how about we calm down and take our seats?" I said in the softest voice I could muster. I couldn't help but think if Riku is going through what I am right now."Lucky bastard." I thought to myself she later calmed down and decided to talk it out. All was well but only one thing was missing. "Where the fuck is the teacher at a time like this?" I said in a confused voice no one seemed to know.
The door slammed open and a stern looking guy walked through. He sent chills down my spines but I figured he couldn't be that bad. "Now listen up students your teacher will be here in a couple minutes. So please shut up if not there's a trip to detention for you."He said as if he was commander of an army. Everyone quickly sat down."You with the Black hair in the back! Why are you not in your seat!" He screamed at me."Uhh... ummm.. I don't hhhave a seat." I tried to say as softly as possible."Oh is that so why didn't you tell me. I would of gladly gave you a seat." He said in a kind voice. "Really?" I said with appreciation in my voice " Hell no that's your teacher's job!" I don't know why but everything about him just seemed to piss me off. Just about then a young lady in her 20s walked in. "Um I hope I'm not late!" The teacher said as she walked in. I noticed that she actually looked kind of pretty I guess. Till she tripped on the door and fell on her face.The class began to laugh while a bit relief filled the class as the guy left. She got up and headed to her desk. "Hello I'm Ms Kagame. That's spelled K-A-G-A-M-E. You can call me Ms K for short." She said with a smile on her face all the boys and the class seemed to faun over her like she was the most beautiful person they ever seen. "Ugh you guys disgust me." I thought to myself. "Ill begin taking attendance now." She said she then took attendance."Daichi Yagami!" She said."I'm here!" I screamed as I raised my hand the class started to laugh at me. Soon after that dozed off when she was talking about the rules.
"Ring Ring!" Was the first thing I heard as I woke up to sound to the bell ringing to signal the period is over. I got my stuff and proceeded to head to my next class. Before I even walked out the class I felt some one tap my shoulder. I turned around to look to see who it is. The girl had red hair and was wearing the school uniform with a disciplinary squad as I like to call them sash on her arm. "Hey sorry about earlier I was just having a rough day." She said in a soft voice."Ya its okay I guess everyone has those days now and then." I said with a smile on my face."Well I guess I should probably introduce myself formally. I am Rei Yuki from the disciplinary comity." She said with a smile on her face. "I'm Daichi, Daichi Karogame. Nice to meet ya Rei." I said with a smile on my face."Nice to meet you D-A-I-C-H-I."She said in a soft soothing voice."Well I have to go so ill see you later bye!" She said as she turned and ran towards where ever she was going."Dear Dad I think I just experienced what you meant about the joy of being in High School."I said as I cried to myself a bit."Hey Daichi your one lucky man!" I heard from behind me. "Who are you? I said wondering just who this kid was."Oh I'm Ringo, Ringo Kerosochi. Just call me Rin for short."He said with a smile on his face."But anyway that was Rei Yuki. Shes practically the school's Idol she excels in academics,sports and above all she has the looks to match."He said with excitement in his voice. "You don't say?" I said with a bit of sarcasm in my voice."Interesting rumor though I heard that shes a completely different person whiles shes on duty though. So watch out okay try not to get on her bad side."He said. "Well thanks for the tip Rin. I think we could become very good friends." I said with a smile on my face.
The Beginning part 3:
-School bell rings- "God I don't know how I did it but I did somehow." I said to myself as I head to my locker and exchanged my shoes. I saw Riku out side I was gonna go and say hey but he seemed a little busy."Hey Daichi!" some one said in an upbeat tone. I turned around and saw Rin. "Oh hey Rin! You don't have after school activities or something?" I said to him. "Nhaa I'm just a loner." He said with sadness in his voice. "Really man?" I said to him. "Nhaa I'm kidding I'm just very lazy." He said in a playful way. "Oh ightt I'm about to go get a burger wanna come? I asked."Sure I got nothing else to do anyway." He said as we were walking out of school we shall some students handing out flyers."Here take one." The person said with a soothing tone."He seems so nice poor guy." I thought to myself as we walked to the side of the school we saw some kids trashing some of the flyers."Hey stop that!" We heard someone screaming. The girl had red hair and wore a school uniform with the disciplinary comity tag on her shirt. "Hey Rin you don't think?"I said as I turned around to check to see if my prediction was right."Well I guess I get to see if my info was right!" Rin said with excitement and his voice. And I guess we were it was none other then Rei. When they guys saw her they ran. She chased after them of course "Hey Rin so about that burger?"I said as I turned around to see Rin. "Crap don't tell me he really Rin!" I Ran after Rin I couldn't tell why but I did. When I got there I was nearly out of breathe but I saw Rin against a wall looked he was trying to stay hidden. "Hey Rin you know you don't have to stay hidden right?" I said as I slowly pat him on the shoulder. "Hush look whats about to go on." I wondered what he meant but I stayed quiet and watched."Now why would you tear up these flyers then above all run when I came over. I don't know if your stupid or just plain everyday idiots with no life?" She said a bit annoyed. "I guess this makes my 2nd case for today. Well I guess this makes me one step closer to ranking up I guess." She said in a defiant tone. "You cant stop us!"He said as he picked up a metal rod he found lying around in the alley. He swung at her I don't know why but my body just moved. "Daichi nooo!" A loud noise sounded I heard rin saw that then everything went blank.
The Beginning part 4:
"Hey Daichi you idiot how long you gonna sleep on the pavement?"I heard someone say as I regained consciousness "Oww why does my head heart so much?"I said with a sharp pain every where."Well I don't know maybe because you thought you were a human shield. And had the ability to block anything? Or maybe your just your average dumb ass who knows?" I heard some one say in an irritating voice."Hey you don't have to be so mean about it!" I said I got up and finally realized who was talking. I saw Rin at edge of the corner holding up a card."My info was right!"Is what the card said."Oh boy Rin really was serious about this."I thought to myself."So this is what he meant about Rei's other side."Turns out he was right.She was also pretty annoying." I thought to myself as she gave me a lecture. She just went on and on and on. I could see Rin just laughing in the corner."Well thats it also did you know there's a class trip tomorrow?" she said"What you mean?" I said with a bit of confusion in my voice. I turned to the side and noticed Rin left."That lucky bastard." I thought to myself."Well I don't know just heard about it when I walked by the teachers lounge. Well anyway go home before I give you detention for hanging out at school after the school ends."Okay ill leave." I said as I started walking away.
-Later that day- "Mom I'm home finally!" I said casually as I took my shoes off and headed upstairs."Oh thank god my bed has never looked so good before." I thought to myself. I fell asleep for a bit till I heard my phone ring."God why is Riku calling me." I wondered "Hey Daichi wake up mannn! Its time to go to school." he said in an excited tone. "What do you mean? Wait oh shit! Hey man ill talk to you at school."I said over the phone I couldn't believe I almost over slept.
Awakening:
-School bell rings- "God I made it in time." I said while I was struggling to catch my breath. I guess I said that a bit to early because everyone was staring. I rush to my seat and class begone. I don't really remember what happened much that day since I slept a lot. But the next park I wont ever forget. "Okay class now where heading on the trail now so please stick together." Mrs K. said we were walking around for quite a while Mrs K went on about all the different flowers we saw. A long the way some where near the end is when I noticed this." Is that a wooden sword? I wondered to myself I couldn't quite make it out in the distance. I don't know why but I was drawn to it."Seems to be in pretty good condition for a sword just randomly left here." I thought to myself. "Okay class its time to bored the buses!" Mrs.K yelled. We all hurried back the sword felt kind of strange I couldn't really explain it but it did.
After I got off I decided to take a quick detour and get a burger on the way home. And that's when it all began. I felt like I was being watched,followed I couldn't tell which. I quickened my pace a walk became a jog. A jog became a sprint before I knew it I was running. I felt the presence of someone else more and more with every step I took. I couldn't take it "Is someone there?" I said out loud "I see you noticed me so I'm going to make this easy on you. You have something that was taking from me long ago. And I'm here to retrieve it."Said by a boy around my age he had dark hair and red eyes but something about him seemed off."Um I don't know what your talking about. So good luck with finding it bro!"I said as I put on a fake smile and walked away. "I see so that how its going to be.I thought this would be easy but didn't think I would have to resort to violence so quickly.Enchant Kurogane!"He said I felt a strong presence I turned around and saw him with a sword in his hand. I ran I tried to get as much distance from his as possible.
-Flashback ends- "Oh so that's how I got caught up in this shit. I turned into a corner and hid. "Is he still following me?" I said quietly trying not to be noticed. I turned around and saw him. He was surveying the area. He was talking to someone I don't know who he was the only there. As he walked closer towards me I ran deeper in to alley I realized after i hoped the fence there's an park. "If I can make it there ill be fine there has to be people who wouldn't cause a seen there right?" U thought as I hoped the fence and headed into the park It was empty. He saw me and jumped over the fence. I couldn't believe my eyes. I Tried to get away but tripped dropping my bag onto the floor and everything coming out including the sword. He came closer and closer I struggle to find something to protect myself. Then I heard it "Pick up the sword." I don't know who said it but I did. "It will help you." The voice in my head said. "Oh so you decided to fight even better lets go!" He lunged at me with a quick swing to my ribs. I managed to block it barley by using my sword as a shield. I could tell he was toying with me."Is this all you got I could of sworn that the demon slayer was more then a wimp!" He said sadistically slashing away at me leaving me no time to defend. I was beat I knew I was going to die he knocked me on the floor I done for. "So this is how it ends huh. Well I guess I have to say it fuck my life!"I said while bracing for impact. But then it hit me "Get up! Pick up the sword and say this you will live trust me." The voice in my head said. I grabbed the sword. "Rise from the depths of the abyss! Enchant Kuro no tatsu(Dark Dragon)! I said I dont know what happened but it felt good.
